CPAWS Action Challenge
Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society's Action Challenge Contest offers awards for best student action project in an elementary class (grades 2-6), a Junior or Senior High class (grade 7-12), the most inspiring water conservation/stewardship project (any grade), and an individual action award (any grade).

The Mayor's Enviornment Expo is a celebration of excellence in environmental education and stewardship for Calgary's youth. The event is free for schools to attend and a great way to inspire your students to take action.

SHAD Canada is a STEAM and experiential learning program geared towards grade 10 and 11 students. In this program, Grade 10 & 11 students get to work in interdisciplinary teams to solve a real-world design challenges which asks students to work on issues such as food security, water management and waste. Throughout their journey, students enrolled will be guided by mentors, SHAD staff and keynote speakers. Learn more about this upcoming summer program in the one pager below or go to SHAD.ca.
